Job Brief
- We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain wireless radio networks.
- The ideal candidate will support network quality, coverage, and capacity goals through RF planning, analysis, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan radio networks (2G/3G/4G/5G) to meet coverage and capacity targets.
- Conduct drive tests and analyze RF performance data.
- Optimize radio parameters to improve network quality and reduce interference.
- Perform frequency planning and site surveys.
- Recommend solutions for coverage gaps and performance issues.
- Collaborate with field teams and network operations during deployments and upgrades.
- Prepare RF-related reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Electrical / Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in RF planning and optimization.
- Knowledge of cellular technologies (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G).
- Proficiency with RF tools (e.g., TEMS, Atoll, MapInfo, Actix).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
