Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience, ensuring efficient operations, managing staff, and driving profitability while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and ambiance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly.
- Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff; create weekly staff schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial performance targets.
- Monitor food presentation, portion control, and overall product quality.
- Coordinate promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and daily specials.
- Maintain cleanliness, ambience, and upkeep of the restaurant premises.
- Analyze sales reports and prepare performance and operational reports for management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of restaurant software (POS systems, inventory tracking, etc.).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality sector.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
