Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Resident Nurseto join our healthcare team in Ebonyi State. As a Resident Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to residents in our facility.
- You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and promote optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
- Monitor and document resident vital signs, medical conditions, and progress
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees
- Maintain accurate and timely records and reports
- Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing, preferably in the health Sector
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care
- Familiarity with Nigerian healthcare regulations and standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
- Post-graduate certification in gerontology or a related field
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
