Established in 1990, the company has a rich history rooted in the development of Shonibare Estate, one of Nigeria’s earliest private housing estates, founded by Chief S. O. Shonibare over 60 years ago.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Resident Electrician
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- To provide electrical services within the estate, including responsibility for its office, and other development projects as assigned by the facility manager.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventive measures.
- Provide technical support and advice on electrical projects.
- Perform routine electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Assist with energy conservation initiatives.
- On-call availability may be required for emergencies.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Minimum of Trade Test, NABTEB, OND, or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of working experience.
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in electrical work.
Salary
N130,000 Monthly.
