Job Title: Research, Development and Regulatory Manager

Job Responsibilities
Key tasks of the role holder will therefore be, but not limited to:
- Work with the team on B2B operations and management.
- Handles Company audit/Regulatory Affairs.
- Responsible for product development.
- Responsible for new product registration.
- Responsible for Packaging Material Development.
- Responsible for Registration renewals (NAFDAC, SON, ISO, etc).
- Customer relations and feedback.
- Develop plans to improve suppliers’ quality in line with the company’s packaging material specification requirement..
- Execute the supplier’s evaluation process and performance rating.
- BoM and recipe management.
Job Requirements
- First Degree in Physics / Chemistry / Food Tech / Science or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in FMCG in recipes development, product development, sensory tests, packaging developments, development trials, etc.
- Additional qualifications or certifications would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a team of R&D professionals.
- Previous experience in Quality Control/ Assurance is a plus.
- Proven history of establishing robust collaborations, particularly with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders.
- Managing both internally developed and externally sourced products/packs.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Capable of accomplishing tasks and meeting targets with minimal supervision.
