Job Summary
- We are hiring a Repossession Officer on behalf of our client in the refrigeration and electronics sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for locating, recovering, and repossessing company assets from defaulting customers while ensuring professionalism and adherence to legal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor accounts with defaulted payments.
- Locate customers and company assets through field visits and investigation.
- Initiate repossession activities following company policies and legal standards.
- Recover electronics, refrigeration units, or related items from defaulting clients.
- Provide accurate daily reports on all repossession efforts.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., credit, sales, legal) to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Maintain proper documentation for all recovered items and client interactions.
- Handle confrontational situations with professionalism and calm.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND; a degree is an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in credit control, collections, or asset recovery.
- Good knowledge of Lagos routes, especially Ajah and its environs.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
- Honest, reliable, and physically fit to carry out repossession duties.
Salary
N130,000 – N140,000monthly.
