- We are seeking a Relationship Officer to oversee and nurture a portfolio of leased vehicles, ensuring timely repayments, strong customer engagement, and overall portfolio health.
- This role is ideal for a driven professional with a background in loan recovery, collections, or financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of leased vehicles, ensuring timely repayment of rental and lease obligations.
- Engage customers proactively to ensure on-time payments, track repayment schedules, and address payment concerns.
- Develop structured repayment plans for customers facing financial challenges while minimizing risks.
- Collaborate with the recovery team on escalated defaults and repossession cases.
- Assess customers’ financial health and identify early warning signs of potential defaults.
- Recommend risk mitigation measures, including payment restructuring or recovery actions.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Relationship Officer on portfolio performance and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in loan recovery or collections (Financial Services, Fintech, Leasing & Asset Financing, Insurance, Retail & Consumer Credit).
- Proven customer relationship management experience.
- Strong communication, listening, and analytical skills.
- Financial, negotiation, and interpersonal expertise.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving ability and emotional intelligence.
Salary
N180,000 – N250,000 Net per month (depending on experience).
