We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Refurbishment Supervisor

Location: Sayo, Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out a variety of repairs of Portable Kitchen Units as and when required.
  • Undertake refurbishment work to Portable Buildings including roofing, flooring, carpentry, wall skinning, painting and maintenance.
  • Other associated maintenance works required to doors, windows, hatches, drain pipes, vents and general structural works to Portable Buildings.
  • Periodic work required for similar maintenance and repair duties to Portable Buildings on site. This may require travel in company vehicles.
  • Oversee refurb teams with Refurb Supervisor and monitor team performance and works completion
  • Assist in supervising stock usage and costs according to Capex and fleet maintenance. Control of Containex panels stock/refurb with a robust stock control system.
  • Plan unit refurb with Quay Supervisor and Production Manager according to demand
  • Oversee and plan large project builds with Refurb Supervisor, Quay Supervisor and Operations Manager
  • Constantly review work and procedures to establish how efficiencies and operational improvements can be made.
  • From time to time, work with Refurb Supervisor and Production Manager to plan the future of the department – growth, direction, structure – in order to seek improvements.
  • Through attention to detail, instill quality values and processes of an expected finished standard
  • Work to grow a team and department into a multiskilled unit with agreed skill sets

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all works to quality standards, Risk assessments and Safe Working Procedure’s .
  • Be an active and responsible part of the team with all matters relating to Health and safety practices.
  • Monitor and report to Supervisors required stock levels of materials
  • Be fully up to date with all processes and H/S requirements.
  • Complete all documentation in a proper and timely manner.
  • Keep your working area clean and clear at all times.
  • Be adaptable to support any other Operational department as and when required.
  • Other tasks as requested and described by your manager, from time to time.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure that all HASAW requirements are met and that HASAW policy is followed.
  • To always carry out tasks in accordance with any documented risk assessment and safe working practice.
  • Carry out toolbox talks as necessary.
  • Ensure that all personnel attending site, sign and understand the method statement.
  • Ensure that daily signing in sheets are completed by all personnel and contractors.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.

  • Able to supervise and control a small team in a fast moving operational environment

  • Must be eligible to gain CRB/DBS (Criminal Record Background/Disclosure Barring Service) clearance.
  • Maintain valid site certification/working cards such as CSCS is required.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / Month.
