We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Analyze architectural and engineering plans to determine material and labour requirements
- Draft and manage tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities
- Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for pricing and terms
- Track changes in project scope and update cost projections accordingly
- Process progress claims, valuations, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards
- Provide cost advice and financial reports to stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
- Min. 5 years of proven experience in real estate or construction projects
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel)
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Membership in professional bodies (e.g., ARCON) is a plus.
