We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer
Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Contract
Job Purpose
- The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for establishing and enforcing quality assurance systems for all materials and construction activities in compliance with project specifications, FMWH standards, and ISO 9001.
Job Description
- Develop and implement QA/QC plan and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
- Witness and verify field/lab tests (CBR, Marshall, Cube tests, etc.).
- Maintain quality records and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Ensure compliance with FMWH specifications and international standards.
Requirements
- BSc Civil/Materials Engineering.
- 7–10 years’ QA/QC experience in highway projects.
- ISO 9001/QMS certification is an added advantage.
Skills & Competence:
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and BS standards.
- Familiarity with laboratory and field test procedures.
- Excellent documentation and audit skills.
