Job Title: Project Manager (Interior Design)

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our diverse portfolio of projects from conception to completion.As a Project Manager (Interior Design), you should have successfully led a team throughout the entire project life-cycle, showcasing your proven expertise in delivering outstanding designs and on-site experience.
- The role requires a professional who can present a portfolio demonstrating consistent project success, effective budget management, exceptional skills in managing artisans and contractors and a strategic approach leading to profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all interior design projects from start to completion, ensuring top-quality delivery and timely execution.
- Ensure near-perfect finishing i.e. all tiling, fittings, and installations must be properly aligned and aesthetically consistent.
- Oversee installation of electrical and non-electrical fittings, including lighting, switches, sockets, and sanitary wares.
- Create mood boards, floor plans, and 3D renderings to visualize layouts and design concepts for client approval.
- Maintain strict quality control standards on materials, finishes, and overall workmanship.
- Coordinate artisans, technicians, and subcontractors to achieve seamless project execution.
- Provide regular progress updates and ensure projects meet design intent and client satisfaction.
- Create and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Liaise between clients, design team, and execution teams to ensure clear communication
- Manage procurement and delivery of materials and furnishings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 5 -7 years of proven experience in interior & FF&E design project management
- Demonstrated track record of managing artisans and on-site personnel effectively
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Superior communication and negotiation capabilities
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and design specifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of local artisan networks and vendor relationships
- Experience with custom furniture production processes
- Ability to create and develop conceptual designs including the skill of using colour and texture
- Experience in using CAD software fluently in 2D and 3D
- Knowledge of Vector works would be advantageous
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials.
Salary
N450,000 – N500,000 Monthly.
