Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction and design projects from conception to completion.
- The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of building codes and construction processes, and be capable of effectively managing stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of building and infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project scope, budget, and timelines, and report on progress to senior management
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, timelines, and deliverables
- Monitor construction and site activities to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare proposals and make solid presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years proven experience in project management within the real estate or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian building codes and construction standards
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or other project management tools
- Must be able to resume within a reasonable time frame.
Salary
Very competitive (N400,000 – N500,000 monthly).
