Job Title: Program Director

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our programs and services.
  • The Program Director will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of our programs and services.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, leadership, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services that align with our organization’s mission and goals.
  • Manage program budgets, ensure fiscal responsibility, and make recommendations for future program development.
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure effective program delivery.

Leadership and Supervision:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and innovation.

Community Engagement and Partnerships:

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders to support program development and growth.
  • Represent our organization in community forums, meetings, and events to promote our programs and services.

Evaluation and Quality Improvement:

  • Develop and implement evaluation plans to assess program effectiveness and impact.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations for program improvements and expansions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in organizational planning, policy development, and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Public Health, Non-profit Management).
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, leadership, and community engagement.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and community engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including communities of color, low-income communities, and other marginalized groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
