Job Title: Production Supervisor for Structural Work
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate structural work production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Supervise and lead a team of fabricators, welders, and assemblers.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, regulations, and quality control measures.
- Plan and schedule production, managing workflows, and allocating resources.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop training plans.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Monitor inventory, manage supplies, and optimize material usage.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Meet production targets, deadlines, and quality standards.
Requirements
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, construction management) preferred.
- OSHA certification or equivalent.
- Industry-specific certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) or training.
Required Skills:
- Experience in structural work production, fabrication, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and quality control measures.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality production.
