We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Production Pharmacist
Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and controls production activities according to CGMP standards.
- Supervises employees, engages in the manufacturing process, and dispenses batches according to the BMR.
- Effects the production plan of the company by engaging in the manufacturing process.
- Assists in pilot scale trials of products under development or under review.
- Ensures that the raw materials used for manufacturing and packaging are adequate for the process completion.
- He/she is the head of the production team and should implement operational manuals, production plans, and programs, and supervise all the production processes under his/her control.
- He/she should ensure that there is no hazard to the production process, personnel, or premises.
- Ensures that personnel wear masks, gloves, and approved shoes before entering the production area.
- Responsible for planning of weekly, monthly, or yearly production schedules.
- Recommends the promotion of his subordinates.
- Ensures a team relationship with the superintendent pharmacist, quality control and assurance managers, and other management representatives, and endorses the best quality product at all times.
- Enforces disciplinary action to the progress of production.
- Performs other functions as assigned by the superintendent pharmacist.
- Any other functions as directed by management.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years experience.
