We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and controls production activities according to CGMP standards.
  • Supervises employees, engages in the manufacturing process, and dispenses batches according to the BMR.
  • Effects the production plan of the company by engaging in the manufacturing process.
  • Assists in pilot scale trials of products under development or under review.
  • Ensures that the raw materials used for manufacturing and packaging are adequate for the process completion.
  • He/she is the head of the production team and should implement operational manuals, production plans, and programs, and supervise all the production processes under his/her control.
  • He/she should ensure that there is no hazard to the production process, personnel, or premises.
  • Ensures that personnel wear masks, gloves, and approved shoes before entering the production area.
  • Responsible for planning of weekly, monthly, or yearly production schedules.
  • Recommends the promotion of his subordinates.
  • Ensures a team relationship with the superintendent pharmacist, quality control and assurance managers, and other management representatives, and endorses the best quality product at all times.
  • Enforces disciplinary action to the progress of production.
  • Performs other functions as assigned by the superintendent pharmacist.
  • Any other functions as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years experience.
