Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the control room equipment, production processes, and equipment and ensures that the plant is operating within normal parameters.
- Ensure that all subcontractors are monitored for safe working practices and follows the permit-to-work system.
- Carry out process isolations as described in the safe working practices and procedures and ensuring that all Company guidelines and regulatory requirements and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure that all platform consumables and stock items such as chemicals are maintained at optimum levels.
- Plan and prioritize work in accordance with the Lead Operator’s instructions.
- Ensure that an accurate and comprehensive production log is maintained.
Qualifications & Skills
- HND / B.Sc or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline and a minimum of 5 years post NYSC relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Skilled in Oil/Gas production operating systems
- Good knowledge of relevant E&P operations, procedures, and practices
- Knowledge of HSE and process safety requirements
- Skilled in computer-aided operations, maintenance, and communication systems
- Good oral and written Technical English capability (communication skills)
- The ability to read P&IDs and schematics will be an added advantage.
Salary
N52,000,000 annually.
