Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and proactive Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Kano.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, supervising production staff, and optimizing manufacturing performance in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the production unit.
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and timeline.
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
- Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure product standards and hygiene are maintained.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for production.
- Supervise and motivate production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
- Prepare and manage production budgets and resource allocation.
Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in Food Science & Technology, Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a production management role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of quality control, health, and safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage production targets and optimize output.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
