About the job
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production / Logistics Manager to oversee production operations and manage the efficient flow of goods, materials, and logistics processes.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, optimizing resources, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining operational excellence in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet targets and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
- Manage inventory, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Coordinate procurement of raw materials and ensure timely availability for production.
- Develop and manage transportation schedules for timely delivery of goods.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize supply chain operations.
People & Process Management:
- Supervise and train production/logistics staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on production and logistics performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Production Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production and/or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and distribution principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/production management software (e.g., ERP
- systems).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
