Job Description

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvements.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance standards are met.
- Oversee daily purchasing activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory replenishment.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
- Continuously evaluate procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Collaborate with finance to prepare and manage procurement budgets.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions by developing contingency plans.
- Supervise and mentor procurement staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
- Set performance goals and regularly evaluate team performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
