We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Role / Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable deals.
- Develop and manage procurement strategies that align with business goals.
- Ensure timely and accurate ordering and delivery of goods.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets and costs.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential suppliers.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2 – 3 years Previous experience as a Procurement/Supply Chain officeror Manager in a FMCG or similar industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
