Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the food processing industry. 
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in process optimization, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within a food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze production data to ensure processes are running efficiently and meeting quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to ensure products meet food safety standards.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes and recommend improvements.
• Participate in the development of new products and processes, ensuring smooth transition from pilot to full-scale production.
• Analyze root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage process-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide training and technical support to operators and other staff on process improvements and best practices.

Qualifications

• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a process engineering role, ideally within the food processing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food production processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process simulation and optimization software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
