Job Title: Plant Fleet Officer
Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor daily usage and performance of plant vehicles and equipment
- Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel usage records, and service history
- Ensure fleet complies with regulatory standards (FRSC, VIO, insurance, etc.)
- Track vehicle licenses, insurance, inspection certificates, and renewals
- Liaise with external service providers and workshops
- Monitor and control fleet operating costs
- Maintain inventory of plant mobile and fixed assets
- Use fleet management tools/software for tracking and reporting
- Coordinate fleet deployment with logistics, production, and procurement teams
- Train drivers/operators on fleet policies and safety standards
- Report fleet issues promptly to management
Requirements
- HND / BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, or related field
- 3–4 years experience in fleet or transport operations
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and servicing schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or fleet management software
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Proximity to Agbara is important
