We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Planner / Scheduler
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring that work is executed efficiently and in line with project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- The role involves close coordination with project managers, engineers, procurement, and contractors to track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Forecast and allocate resources (manpower, equipment, materials) to meet project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, track performance, and highlight deviations from the plan.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and other stakeholders to align activities.
- Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present progress reports, charts, and updates to management and stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and cost control by aligning plans with financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with project planning standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate planning records for audit, claims, and project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings, providing planning and scheduling insights.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Planner in relevant industry (construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or manufacturing).
- Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
Salary
N600,000 Monthly.
