Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened : mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care. The French section is present in about thirty countries.

Mission:
Within the Partnerships and Philanthropy department, in the private fundraising department and under the hierarchical responsibility of the Head of the Philanthropy division, you actively contribute, to the development of the resources collected from the « major donors » (individuals and private foundations) for the’association and the MSF Foundation, ensuring the following missions :
Main missions :
- Manage the relationship plan in prospecting and loyalty to develop resources from major proven and potential donors of your portfolio :
- Propose targeted relational actions and implement them to retain and develop the contribution of major donors.
- Prospect new contacts and develop the network of major donors, in collaboration with the Head of the Philanthropy division.
- Follow-up on donations from donors and foundations in its portfolio: support modalities and’ engagement program, administrative follow-up, drafting of conventions, etc.
- Carry out marketing campaigns for major donors: calls for donations, letters and relationship emails, events, etc.
- Identify, in collaboration with the MSF departments concerned, the projects to be proposed to major donors or foundations. Proactively propose these projects in a targeted, reasoned and relevant way.
- In collaboration with the editor, design proposals and funding reports, as well as communication materials for the target audience.
- Participate in the’identification, in collaboration with the Prospect Researcher, of new prospects.
- Actively contribute to the development of MSF’s internal and external networks on the target, with the aim of visibility and’ identification of new development levers.
Profile sought:
Training/Experiences :
Bac+4 or 5 training in business school or university, or, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience including 3 years on a BtoC business development position (customer relationship manager, key account manager, etc.) or on a similar position in philanthropy in association or foundation.
Skills : Mastery of the Office pack.
Languages : English minimum B2 and French minimum C1.
Status : Executive position, full-time CDI – Based in Paris with occasional trips.
Conditions :
46,5K€ gross annual over 13 months.
22 days of RTT per year. Additional health care 100% taken care of by Médecins Sans Frontières. Restaurant titles with a face value of 11 € ( 60% supported by Médecins Sans Frontières ). Support for 50% of the public transport ticket.
