Job Description
- We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
- The successful candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
- Provide guidance to customers on the proper use of medications and over-the-counter products.
- Maintain accurate patient records and process prescriptions efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of medications.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and address concerns related to pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies regarding the handling and dispensing of medications.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean, organized, and functional workspace.
- Assist in managing pharmacy operations, including cash handling and maintaining accurate records.
Educational Qualifications
- A Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies from a recognized institution.
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or healthcare setting.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminologies.
Other Requirements:
- Relevant certifications and licensing as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for dispensing medications in Nigeria.
- Passion for promoting health and wellness in the community.
Remuneration
N70,000 – N100,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
