We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Outlet Manager

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Area/Regional Manager or Operations Manager

Job Purpose

  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of the confectionery/QSR outlet, ensuring excellent customer experience, operational efficiency, adherence to brand standards, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:

  • Supervise daily outlet operations to ensure smooth and efficient running.
  • Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation according to brand standards.
  • Oversee food preparation, inventory management, and store hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
  • Manage POS systems and ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and daily reporting.

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed outlet revenue targets.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Implement in-store promotions and marketing initiatives to attract customers.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere for customers.

Staff Supervision & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise outlet staff including cashiers, servers, and kitchen assistants.
  • Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing at all times.
  • Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity.
  • Foster teamwork and positive employee morale.

Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and prevent wastage or pilferage.
  • Monitor food cost, labor cost, and other operational expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with sales reports.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, expenses, and operations.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per head, footfall, and wastage.
  • Liaise with head office on operational updates, product feedback, and logistics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in outlet/store management within a confectionery, QSR, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) is an advantage.
