We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Orthopaedic Surgeon
Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves.
- Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to joint replacements, arthroscopy, and fracture repair.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnoses.
Patient Management:
- Consult with patients and their families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, health and safety regulations, and medical ethics guidelines.
Teaching and Mentorship:
- Provide training and mentorship to junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare staff.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery.
Research and Development:
- Engage in clinical research to contribute to the advancement of orthopedic knowledge and practices.
- Implement evidence-based practices and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree and board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Valid license to practice in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
- Proficiency in a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic, surgical, and patient management skills.

- Strong clinical and surgical expertise.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
