Job Summary
- In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales management, staff supervision, inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Set and exceed store sales targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies. Lead the team in focusing on specific products to meet sales goals.
- Utilize various reports to review and analyze business results, propose actionable plans, and ensure targets are achieved.
- Manage simplified P&L aspects, including inventory, discounts, and running expenses.
- Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive overall store performance.
- Train, position, and discipline staff to align with the business strategy and sales goals and motivate staff to perform at their best.
- Participate in the recruitment process to ensure the selection of high-caliber staff.
- Encourage and support the individual development of staff, building a strong succession pipeline within the store.
- Supervise stock transfers, stock takes, and inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom and backup storage area.
- Implement and adhere to branch merchandising guidelines, ensuring the store reflects the brand’s luxury image.
- Oversee and execute business development strategies in alignment with the company’s growth objectives
- Liaise with the Business Development Manager to ensure vendor orders are fulfilled and partnerships are maintained.
- Work with the Business Development Manager and Creative Director to develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year to increase revenue.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure that all production materials are adequately available and shrewdly used.
- Ensure all production processes are strictly followed, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Perform quality control checks on all products received and produced to ensure they meet the brand’s standards.
- Oversee all branding needs for the store, ensuring that all branding items and activities align with the brand’s luxury standards.
- Lead the team in acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with key customers.
- Implement initiatives to drive repeat visits and build customer loyalty.
- Work with the Marketing team to coordinate in-store events that enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Oversee all facets of store operations, including billing, daily reconciliation, management reporting, and cash management.
- Implement and support all necessary security measures to safeguard the store’s assets and staff.
- Implement and adhere to branch merchandising guidelines, ensuring the store reflects the brand’s luxury image.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in retail operations, basic accounting, and inventory management, with a passion for maintaining the luxury standards of the brand.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer-focused and approachable.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 Monthly.
