Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Officer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and supporting the professional development of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in line with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate patient care services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and training.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate staff development programs.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Manage patient care plans, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Monitor and manage patient satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license to practice.
- Proven experience of 2-3years as a Nursing Officer
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and standards.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations with composure.
- Proficiency with healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Candidate must be a resident of Ughelli & it’s environs.
