Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance locally as well as over the air interface.
- Perform 24/7 network surveillance, respond to network‐reported and customer‐reported problems.
- Provide specialist technical support to all other departments in the organisation regarding network and radio-related problems.
- Coordinate and perform maintenance of cell sites strictly managed by Swift Networks, and liaise with the vendor on the maintenance of cell sites not directly managed by Swift Networks.
- Responsible for the configuration and bench testing of new products and giving ATP (Authority To Proceed) concerning those products.
- Technical point man between Swift & vendors regarding radio and microwave equipment related RMA issues.
- Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
- Reporting to the Customer Support Manager.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have the drive and capability to meet and exceed challenging targets.
- Minimum of 1-2 years (s) of experience in network engineering.
- Strong relationship and team building skills; experience in dealing with corporate and government representatives and other senior individuals and stakeholder groups.
- Delivering results – absolute focus to deliver under pressure in an ever-changing business environment.
- Putting customers first – understand the needs, expectations, and requirements of stakeholders.
- Communicating for impact – effective communication with senior stakeholders inside and outside of the company.
