Job Summary
- The MIPS Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing the maintenance and integration of mechanical, instrumentation, and process systems within the plant.
- This role ensures all systems operate efficiently and safely while aligning with the company’s operational goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all mechanical and instrumentation systems.
- Implement and monitor maintenance strategies and schedules to minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for system failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and system performance records.
- Develop training programs for staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in MIPS or similar engineering roles.
- Professional certification in relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management) is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in engineering.
