MedGlobal is a global humanitarian non-profit organization providing medical and health education services to people in need, including refugees and displaced persons, in disaster and underserved regions. The organization is composed of medical and public health professionals of diverse backgrounds.

CODE OF CONDUCT

MedGlobal Code of Conduct reflects the profession’s core set of beliefs and values of care, respect, trust, and integrity. These beliefs and values are fundamental to MedGlobal employees, volunteers, interns, consultants, officers’ coordinators, and directors to guide their practice and conduct.

The Code is organized into categories, as follows:

JOB SUMMARY

Providing women’s health and obstetrics services, and improving the health standards for women and girls, including prenatal and gynecological care.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

List down the main responsibilities of the position

  1. Monitor the cases during pregnancy.
  2. Develop and evaluate individualized care programs.
  3. Provide complete prenatal care including screening tests.
  4. Determining pregnancies and the risk ratio and referring the cases to doctors and specialists.
  5. Advice before and after examinations and tests.
  6. Provide support and advice after various operations.
  7. Supervising mothers, providing assistance, and knowing appropriate medications.
  8. Provide support and advice on the day-to-day care of the child.
  9. Liaising with agencies and other health and social care professionals.
  10. Participate in the training of junior staff and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Should have the following skills, education, and experience:

  1. Graduated from Midwifery high school.
  2. At least five years of experience in the Midwifery.
  3. High communication skills
  4. Problem-solving skills
  5. Empathy skills
  6. Written and verbal communication skills
