Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team, responsible for managing the product range, pricing, and inventory levels of our printer and gadget categories.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the tech industry, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to inform product range decisions
- Manage and optimize product inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate best-in-class deals and terms
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective product promotion and sales execution
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND
- 3+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the tech industry (printers and gadgets)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of retail operations and supply chain management.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of consumer behavior and market research principles.
Salary
N232,000 monthly.
