Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician / Assistant
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Receive, collect and analyze body fluids, including blood, urine etc.
- Execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures.
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Maintains patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.
- Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative laboratory procedures.
Qualifications / Experience
- A Medical Laboratory Technician / Assistant licensed by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Proven experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or Assistant or relevant position
- Must be Computer literate.
- He or she should be able to multi-task; capable of handling several issues at the same time to deliver results and meet desired deadlines.
- Effective Laboratory Quality Management System skills
- Experience in operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
- Effective Laboratory data management skills
- Must be able to run common medical tests.
- Have good knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
