Job Title: Medical Doctor (Experienced Practitioner)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment across diverse medical cases.
- Provide evidence-based care and maintain thorough clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Participate in medical audits, case reviews, and continuing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and professional standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Must have completed Housemanship and NYSC.
- Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a reputable healthcare facility.
- Must hold a current practicing license and be in good standing with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous medical learning and patient-centered care.
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate clinical excellence, sound judgment, and strong patient management skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
