Job Overview
- We are hiring on behalf of our client for the role of Mechanical Technician.
- The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment and be skilled in handling various mechanical systems and equipment.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Trade Test Certificate or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with rotating equipment, conveyors, mixers, pumps, and filling machines is desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and FFS machines.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and humidifiers is an added advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Physical & Work Conditions:
- Willingness to work on-site or in industrial settings.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Must be disciplined and safety-conscious.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifts or weekends if necessary.
