Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern

Reports to: Mechanical Maintenance Manager / Rolling Mill Department Head

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Rolling Mill department.
  • The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems used in the rolling mill process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Mechanical Design and Development: Assist mechanical engineers in designing and developing mechanical equipment and systems, including rolling mills, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct Site Inspections and Troubleshooting: Conduct site inspections to identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems with rolling mill equipment and systems.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Procedures: Assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment and systems, including preventive maintenance schedules and repair protocols.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with other departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure efficient and effective operation of the rolling mill.

Requirement

  • Mechanical Engineer: B.Sc / HND.
