Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Function

  • To support in the management of corporate branding and various marketing services for the visibility of the company’s services, awareness and all other initiatives that will improve the corporate standing of the organization with all its stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
Financial:

  • Assist in developing marketing tools such as brochures, decks, and presentations that directly support the sales team in closing deals.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at maximizing return on investment.

Profitability:

  • Ensure efficient use and monitoring of marketing budgets to prevent overspending and improve cost control.
  • Utilize cost-effective digital platforms—such as email, social media, and the company website— instead of relying heavily on traditional media.
  • Support customer loyalty and retention programs that help reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value.

Risk Managment:

  • Monitor marketing content and campaigns to ensure alignment with brand standards and company values.
  • Plan for contingencies such as platform outages, misprints, or delivery issues.
  • Protect customer data used in marketing campaigns.

Marketing & Communications:

  • Support in implementing the BU Marketing & Comms activities.
  • Support in the implementation of all corporate communication activities.
  • Work with BU CRM-Marketing Manager to review and align on comms for company website, social media platforms and BU communications to feature in the Group bulletin.
  • Supports the development and execution of the BU Marketing strategy.
  • Support with the management of BU Marketing budget.
  • Supports in driving BU branding initiatives and implements across facilities and assets nationwide.
  • Attending conferences, seminars, workshops, and industry / professional functions for networking, enhancing business and market intelligence, gathering industry intelligence and to promote the brand.
  • Planning and organisation of corporate events.

Sustainability:

  • Support in the Initiation and coordination of all BU Corporate Social Initiatives.
  • Work with the CRM- Marketing Manager to implement the initiatives planned for the FY.
  • Support the implementation of the SSA Sustainability strategy in the BU.
  • Support in the management of BU Corporate Social Initiatives budget.

Qualifications

  • A good Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or any management course.
  • Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – CILT.
  • Member of African Centre for Supply Chain-ACSC.

Skills and Experience:

  • Marketing experience.
  • Relationship management (Clients and Vendors) experience.
  • Business development experience.
  • Supply Chain Management experience.
