Job Title: Marketing Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

  • This role will be responsible for supporting the execution of marketing strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and revenue for our distributed artists and labels.
  • You’ll work closely with artists, A&R, DSPs (like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube), and internal teams to plan and coordinate release campaigns, social media content, paid promotions, and brand partnerships.
  • The ideal candidate is both results-driven and culturally tuned in, with a passion for digital music, independent artists, and the streaming landscape.

Job Description
Artist Campaign Support:

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for artist releases across streaming platforms and social media.
  • Coordinate release rollout timelines and asset delivery with artists, A&R, and content operations.
  • Help craft and distribute artist marketing plans, EPKs, press releases, and DSP pitch submissions.
  • Liaise with DSP editorial and marketing teams to support playlisting and promo opportunities.

Content & Digital Marketing:

  • Create and manage social media calendars and content across company and artist-facing platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Support the production of promotional assets (videos, graphics, ads) in collaboration with designers and editors.      
  • Track and report on campaign performance across social, email, and paid platforms (Meta, Google Ads, etc.).

Partnership & Brand Collaboration:

  • Assist in organizing cross-promotions with DSPs, brands, influencers, and content creators.
  • Help identify and pitch partnership opportunities that align with artist campaigns and company initiatives.

Market & Trend Analysis:

  • Monitor music marketing trends, fan engagement tactics, and platform algorithm changes (especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
  • Conduct competitive research and audience insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Contribute ideas to team brainstorms and long-term marketing strategies.

Administrative & Internal Coordination:

  • Maintain campaign documentation, reports, and internal records.
  • Coordinate marketing assets across teams and update project management tools.
  • Support marketing events, artist showcases, and activations (virtual or in-person).              

Requirements & Qualification            

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (but not required with strong relevant experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in music marketing, digital marketing, or a related role (label, distribution, agency, or DSP experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital music platforms and the streaming ecosystem (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Familiarity with artist marketing campaigns, release rollouts, and social media management.
  • Experience using marketing and analytics tools (Chartmetric, Soundcharts, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and marketing tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Linktree, Mailchimp, Canva).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
