Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Preventive

Job Summary
- To support the generation and supply of good quality electric power for production and other users, through preventive efforts with all relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and maintenance of power-generating sets and ancillaries.
- Execute the planned routine or preventive maintenance in line with a defined checklist.
- Troubleshooting and repair of power generating sets and auxiliary equipment.
- Daily logging of generator operating parameters and writing of daily reports of activities.
- Periodic update of ISO documentation.
- To carry out periodical checks on the conditions of generator auxiliaries, and associated equipment and accessories.
- Monitor and ensure adequate stock of generator consumables in the Engineering Store to avoid stockout.
- Collaborate with AMC vendor deputizing personnel to carry out maintenance activities.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the engine rooms
Requirements
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English, Minimum of Trade Test II or NABTEB (NTC) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field.
- 2 years’ cognate experience
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
