Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
- A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of equipment, machinery, buildings, or systems to ensure optimal functioning and safety.
- This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and responding to urgent repair needs.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment and Machinery Maintenance:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing issues.
- Replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, or diagnostic equipment.
- Keep machinery operating efficiently by troubleshooting malfunctions.
Emergency Repairs:
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests or work orders.
- Minimize downtime by efficiently repairing issues during off-hours or shifts.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain clean and safe work environments.
- Document work performed and materials used.
Recordkeeping and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance logs, and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about maintenance needs or completed tasks.
Tool and Inventory Management:
- Maintain and organize tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Order materials and parts when inventory is low.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of OND, Vocational or technical training with experienceis a plus.).
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and Form, Fill and Seal Machines.
- Ability to read technical manuals andblueprints.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
