Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager/Engineer specializing in Sino, Hyundai & Howo trucks as well as Toyota 4-Runners & Highlander cars.
- The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repairs of company vehicles to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for trucks and cars.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in Sino, Hyundai, Howo trucks, and Toyota vehicles.
- Ensure timely repairs and servicing of all company vehicles to minimize downtime.
- Manage and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports on all maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for procurement of spare parts and materials.
- Monitor budget and costs related to vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations of maintenance personnel.
Requirements
- Education: B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Membership: Membership of NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers) and COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) is a must.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in vehicle maintenance within an FMCG environment, with at least 6 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Sino, Hyundai, and Howo trucks, as well as Toyota 4-Runners and Highlanders.
- Leadership & Management Skills: Ability to lead and develop a team of technicians and ensure high performance.
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
- Location: Must be residing in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 monthly.
