Job Summary
- As our Machine Operator, you’ll join our skilled production team.
- Leveraging your technical expertise and paying attention to detail.
- You’ll operate and maintain cable extruder and wire drawing machines, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety protocols.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate cable extruder and wire drawing machines according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal output and quality.
- Conduct regular checks on machine settings and product quality during production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent machine breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for major repairs and upgrades.
- Adhere to safety standards and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
- Maintain accurate production logs and machine operation records.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience operating cable extruders and wire drawing machines in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and operating manuals.
Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
