Concern on Climate Change for the Community Initiative (FOURCi) is a non-profit organization group of Academics, Environmentalists, Agricultural Experts, Health experts, Building Experts and community volunteers coming together with their different expertise with one voice and concern towards safeguarding the future of our climate. It is founded in October 2020 and registered with the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) on the 3rd of June, 2021 and other relevant bodies in February, 2021. Sustainable Development Goals (SDG‟s) numbers one (1), two (2) six (6), seven (7), nine (9), eleven (11), twelve (12), fourteen (14), fifteen (15) and of course thirteen (13) will be our guide. We will be prioritizing raising awareness and resilience of communities and people in developing countries that are already affected by climate change, and whose capacities to adapt and resources to respond are limited. FOURCi has focus on carrying out intense scientific research community resilience considers policy and practice on adaptation and loss and damage, including land rights, promotion of climate-resilient agriculture and food systems, promoting and creating awareness on sustainable structures/building and the halting and reversal of land degradation and biodiversity loss.

Job Title: M & E Assistant

Job Description
- Assist in the development of the project Monitoring and Evaluation plan and its effective and efficient implementation.
- Ensure that log frame performance and impact indicators are defined and are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time bound).
- Develop measurement methods and identify data sources for project performance and impact indicators, in conjunction with respective project component teams.
- Provide quality assurance through the development and implementation of an M&E Operations and Reporting Manual for the project.
- Ensure that the purpose of the M&E Operating Manual is being achieved and enabling decision-making on the project progression and development.
- Support M&E activities to ensure that all monitoring activities are being performed according to schedule/M&E calendar.
- Draft regular M&E project reports and assist in the preparation of project evaluation and/or review reports.
- Provide support to improve monitoring and reporting mechanism through revised monitoring and reporting framework, through collaboration with the programme team
- Compile and consolidate project component reports monthly/quarterly/bi-annually.
- Drafting of quarterly, annual and other reports required by donor.
- Ensure that project data are entered and updated on a timely basis.
- Collect program routine monitoring data and follow-up with the program team on data collection and reporting and assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
- Support in conducting routine Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) and supporting data review meetings with program teams.
- Support the M&E officer in managing day to day M&E tasks arising in the Field Office and providing technical support to field teams to ensure effective implementation of projects.
- Perform any other M&E tasks assigned by the M&E Officer or his/her supervisor
Qualifications (Know-How)
Educational Training And Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Information Technology, Development Studies, Statistics or a related discipline.
- At least two years’ experience from working as a M &E in a humanitarian context.
- Good command of English both verbal and written.
- Good personal and organizational skills, including time management, and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of people based in multiple locations.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.
Competencies:
- Strong level of autonomy to provide independent follow through on processing issues and concerns
