Job Summary

  • We are seeking diligent and customer-oriented Loan Collection Agents to manage the collection of overdue payments while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve payment issues effectively and uphold the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact Borrowers: Reach out to clients via phone, email, or in-person visits to discuss overdue payments.
  • Negotiate Payment Solutions: Develop repayment plans or suggest alternative solutions to help clients settle their debts.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, payment agreements, and follow-up actions in the company database.
  • Monitor Accounts: Track overdue accounts and ensure timely follow-up on payment commitments.
  • Legal Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations regarding debt collection practices.
  • Customer Service: Provide clients with clear explanations of their account status and offer guidance to avoid future defaults.
  • Reporting: Submit regular updates to management on collection progress and account statuses.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as loan officers and legal teams, to resolve complex cases.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in debt collection, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other collection tools.
