Job Title: Liability Product Manager
Location: Lagos
Grade: Assistant Banking Officer (ABO) – Banking Officer (BO)
Role Overview
- This role is focused on the development, management, and growth of liability products (savings, current, and investment accounts) to meet the bank’s deposit targets.
- You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, developing market-aligned products, and achieving liability growth across retail and SME segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage liability products that align with customer needs and market demands
- Drive deposit mobilization in line with business targets
- Monitor product performance, customer uptake, and revenue contribution
- Work with branches and sales teams to improve product penetration and customer experience
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product development
- Design and execute product campaigns and promotions
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Finance, IT) to ensure product success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in product management, retail banking, or deposit mobilization
- Strong knowledge of liability products and banking operations
- Target-driven with a proven track record of hitting performance goals
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Familiarity with market segmentation and customer profiling.
