Job Title: Lecturer II, Data Science (Analytics / Big Data)

Requirements
- The ideal candidates should possess BSc in Data Science / Statistics and an MSc in Data Science.
- The candidate should have a PhD in Data Science specializing in Analytics/Big Data.
- For candidates without a PhD, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience as an Assistant Lecturer in these areas is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python, R, or SQL and hands-on experience in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, including data visualization methods, is required.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and frameworks, such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, or Hadoop and applying the techniques to real-world problems and datasets will be an added advantage.
- Evidence of publications in Scopus-Indexed Journals would be an added advantage.
- Candidates with over two years full-time relevant teaching and research experience at Lecturer II level may be considered provided he/she can demonstrate a scholarship with substantially excellent publication far beyond the minimum requirements.
