Job Title: Land Surveyor
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Conducting land surveys and measurements to determine property boundaries.
- Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.
- Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals on project requirements.
- Using specialized equipment and technology, such as GPS, GIS, and CAD software, to collect and analyze data.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Providing expert advice on land use and development projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Surveyor’s license (preferred).
- 4+ Proven experience in land surveying and mapping.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g., GPS, GIS, CAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
