Job Title: Laboratory Manager

Job Summary
- As our Laboratory Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the materials testing laboratory.
- This includes supervising the laboratory team, ensuring all tests and procedures comply with industry standards, and maintaining high-quality output.
- The role involves developing and implementing testing protocols, overseeing equipment maintenance, and ensuring accurate and timely data reporting to support construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
- Liaise with project management teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for material utilization.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laboratory equipment and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction laboratory environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software for materials testing.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 / month.
