Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
Location: Kosofe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Analyze test results and interpret data to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and investigate deviations from established quality parameters, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all laboratory testing procedures, results, and observations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and research and development, to address quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment in the laboratory.
- Conduct daily in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines.
- Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality control and laboratory testing.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Chemistry, Food Scienc, Bio chemistry a related field.
- Must have 3-5 years relevant experience.
